SCARLETS

After waking up earlyish yesterday morning mam and I headed to Llanelli to go watch the Scarlets V Munster at Parc y Scarlets. As we were so close we stopped to say hello to my mamgu and dadcu (gran and grandad) in Saron as it was their emerald (55years) wedding anniversary on Friday. We reached Llanelli at around 2 o'clock and as the match didn't start 'till half 6 we went to do a little shopping in trostre where I bought some bracelets from Topshop and a pink milk bottle lantern type thing for my bedroom from T. K. Maxx. We arrived at my mam's friend's flat a little past 4pm and wow, the view from the flat was amazing. 2 of the 4 balconies in the flat had ocean views and nothing else accept for the ocean! Whilst sitting in the living room I could watch windsurfers from the comfort of the couch! Once we finished our food we headed to the stadium.

Before going in to sit down we ventured in to the stadium's shop as there was a sale on. I bought an awesome coat that I've been wanting for ages but it was £75 so never bought it. Yesterday however the coat was £33! What a bargain! Also I bought a thermal style top that'll be good for training and going out cycling or running! We had great seats. We were just meters away from players such as George North and Paul O'Connell! Although the game was a draw (20-20) the second half was extremely exciting but the ref, Alain Rolland, was a complete tool and even I could see illegal occurrences on the pitch that he never picked up on. Well what do expect from him really! On our way back we stopped in tesco to grab some food for supper. We arrived home at around 22:30 and we sat down to watch 'The Voice' which I love!

PARTEEEEY.

Yesterday I had no lessons so i didn't have to go in to school. Buzzinga. So I just did some homework read some books and took Hendrix for a walk. Then at half 3 I went up to Lampeter to pick Carwen up from school as she was coming back to my house to get ready for Ruth's 18th birthday party. At around half 7 we were ready and so we left for the parteeeey. Although it was quiet at the beginning it soon picked up and everyone was having a good time dancing to clean off classics such as Steps - 5,6,7,8 (tuneee!) and Stacey's Mom. After dancing for most of the 5 hours we were there, at half 12 the DJ finished and it was time to go home. I had a lift home with Jodie and was cwtched up in my bed by half 1am. So all in all it was a good party, it had some drama and there was also some awkwardness (yes nicola fi'n siarad i ti "but she's not here!") but I had a really fun time.

KEEP ROLLIN' ROLLIN' ROLLIN'

Sunday mam and decided to go for a little cycle. I hadn't been on the bike for a while so was looking forward to it. After lunch we set off and ended up doing 21 miles which isn't  bad for my first outing in a while. 21 miles in west Wales  involves a lot of hills and on our way back we decided to go on a different route and boy that was a bit of a mistake as it was uphill 90% of the way! We stopped on our way home to watch a bit of women's rugby in Lampeter rugby club. We didn't watch the whole game and when we arrived home I grabbed myself a bowl of Alpen and sat down to watch the Scarlets V Aironi pro12 match that I had recorded. All in all it was a good day that concluded with mothers homemade chinese and a win for the Scarlets!

LEGALLY BLONDE!

Thursday I went to the hairdressers. I was there for 3 and a quarter hours! I'm used to these marathon sessions now because every time I go to the hairdressers (every like 4 months) I colour it so it takes forever when you have long thick hair like mine! Last time I went for a dark colour which was a big change for me as I'm naturally blonde. The last couple of weeks I've been wanting to brighten my hair so went for a total juxtaposition. I am now blonde. As in really blonde! And I think I love it. It's like a rocker/beach style which I'm obsessed with. So all is great!

Here are some pictures!

LUNCH DATE BY THE SEA

Yesterday I just wanted to get out of the house and do something. I decided that I wanted to go out for lunch and Aberaeron has this awesome little deli on the main street so it was a no brainer really. Whilst driving down the street, I looked to my left and who was just casually walking past but Aaron Shingler! (random fact) I had a Gorwydd cheese and salami panini whilst mam ate a tartlette of some form with side of olives, peppers, cucumbers and feta (yuuuum). It was delish! We sat there for about half an hour after lunch just designing my 18th birthday cake! It's going to look so cool (hopefully!)

We bought some apple and cinamon pastry things from the deli and headed out for a walk around Aberaeron. Even though it was kind of a windy day it was awesome! I think I'm biased to wherever there is a sea. I just love the sea. We people watched for a while and then headed home!

After writing 5 pages of my history essay we took Hendrix out for a little walk (3miles) and there were just so many little lambs about it was crazy! I love walking the same amount or maybe more than the sea! We only passed 2 cars for the whole 3 miles! Upon arriving home we ate our deli supper which consisted of fresh bred, cheese, humus and salad. Yummmm!

What a great day!
oh ye and then owen and I just hugged attacked dad. Chillin'.

IRELAND, IRELAND . . .

On Thursday myself along with 35 other pupils from school headed over the Irish sea on a rugby and hockey tour. We stayed in the Clarion hotel in Limerick for 3 nights and it was lush! On Friday morning at around 7:15am Carwen, Nicola and myself headed down to the gym for an early morning workout. After a shower and some lovely breakfast we headed over to a local school to play a game of hockey against them. We lost 2-1 but it was, in my opinion, by far one of the best games of hockey we have ever played! We looked very professional in our new hockey kits and everything! Lunch was then served in the school canteen and after a short but hilarious walk around the streets and shops of Limerick Carwen and I headed back to the hotel for a swim, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi session! Nice! After all of that we had a four course meal in the hotel and ended the night with a picture with some of the munster players that were staying in our hotel i.e O'gara (what a turd.) and I shared a lift with Donncha O'callaghan!

Saturday after breakfast we headed out of Limerick to an adventure/team building place! At first I was like "I am not climbing up anything" but after putting on my harness and helmet I ended up being the first to climb the high ropes challange and even went up for a second time to have a gladiator match against Rhian! Then we went on to do the team building challange, which was rather hilarious! We ended up in the same group as the teachers and I'll just say I have some crakin' videos of the day! If that wasn't exhausting enough we then raced back to play another game of hockey against Limerick hockey club. This time we wom 2-0 no thanks to their ref! Jee-wiz she was an angry woman! Later that night we went to have supper at the University of Limerick and then headed to Thomond Park to watch Munster V's Leinster! Although Munster lost it was an amazing experience to be in the mist of such passionate fans and great players! Once we arrived back at the hotel we had to pack ready for our departure the next morning. Even though the teachers said we weren't aloud out of our rooms after 11pm, myself along with the rest of year 13 (6 of us) headed down to the bar and the teachers were fine with it (kindof). Whilst sitting there Nigel Owens (the referee) came to talk to us once he had arrived back after refereeing the Munster leinster match. He is such a lovely man and took time out to talk sit and talk to us for a while!

With everything packed and all the bags on the bus we had a group picture outside with the teachers and Nigel Owens. Whilst sitting on the bus waiting to leave the teachers pulled the mother of all April Fool's that involved a bill of 1000euro! On our way back to the ferry we stopped to watch the boys play rugby against a local school - they won by like 9 tries, all converted and a penalty against 2 unconverted tries! For the whole 60 minuites Myself, Rhian and Sophie ran around kicking and passing rugby balls like there was no tomorrow! Gosh I was tired by the end! The parents of the players made sandwiches and cakes for after the match and once we had eaten so much we could burst we headed for the ferry! Our ferry wasn't leaving 'till 9 and we arrived in Rosslare at around 7 so to pass the time Carwen, myself played tag rugby with some of the boys and did a lot of sudoku's! And i mean a lot! I didn't stop (with the help of Carwen!) that's all I did on the ferry really was lie down and work on sir's sudokus! We finaly arrived home at around half 2am! after laughing the whole way home from Fishguard! I'm sure people we annoyed with Carwen and I but I literally could not stop the giggles!
WHAT A GREAT TRIP!

SUNSHINE BABY!

Over the last two weeks or so the weather here in west wales has been so great! Sun, sun, sun every day in till around half 8! So this has meant Hendrix has been on lots'n'lots of walkies! I came home from school early a couple of days last week because I had no lessons in the afternoon so I grabbed my ipod, towel and sun lotion and headed outside to lie in the sun! Bendigedig!
