LOL . NO REALLY, LOL!

I have been so busy over the last week or so that I haven't had much time at all to do anything, including updating this blog! Yesterday was an incredibly long day. I woke up at 7am on Monday morning and didn't go to sleep untill 12am Wednesday morning. The reason for this was because we had to go on transfers. That meant we had to take a group of kids back to Heathrow and pick up another group from Gatwick and then drive the 5 hours back home!

Anyway, we've been on many trips over the last couple of days, from Dinefwr castle near Llandeilo, the Botanical Gardens of Wales and also Cardiff. I've also been on my own little trips to watch Rhod Gilbert in the Swansea Grand and I also had my Sixth Form ball last Friday!  So as you can see I've been pretty darn busy!

Rhod Gilbert was so hilarious! The whole shoe was amazing. There were a few hecklers in the crowd but he he dealt with them so well and made them in to a part of the show! He is definitely one of my favorite comedians and one of the best I've seen live. My brother says that Rhod is the best person he's ever seen live but I have to say that mine was Rob Brydon - he was incredible! We've seen Rhod's last 3 tours and this one was probably my favorite!

The night after we went to watch Rhod I had my Sixth Form Summer ball - also this was my year's last ball as we've now finishes school! It was held in Waunifor Cottages just outside Llanllwni. The venue was really nice and just the right size. We had a hog roast for dinner and then after we danced for most of the night! It was nice to see everyone and catch up as I haven't seen them in ages because I went straight to New York after my last exam and then straight from New York to my Summer School job. I wore a French Connection dress that I wore to my Year. 11 prom - recycling guys, it's cool!

I arrived home from the ball just after 1am and had to get up early to be back in work by 10am! That afternoon we headed over the National Botanical Gardens so the students could have a look around. The activity leaders spent most of our time sitting in the cafe watching traditional welsh dancing and lying in the grass. I did also, however, have a nice walk around the gardens as it was a nice day. I've been there so many times myself that I've seen the whole gardens but it is still beautiful and peaceful no matter how many times you go there.

On Sunday we jumped on the bus at 9am and headed down the M4 to Cardiff. We visited the castle, which I haven't been to in years - it was so long ago that I can't even remember it! Walking around the place was cool and the best thing was that Huw Edwards was giving me my own personal tour (well, he was the narrator of the audio tour!) so I was happy as larry! After the castle we headed in to town and shopped for a bit. I bought 2 tops from Primark (I hate that shop!) and I also bought a cardigan and a t-shirt from Hollister.

So that's what I've been up to over the last week, along with many discos, karaoke nights and talent shows!
