NEW YORK - DAY 2

As New York City is 5 hours behind us in the UK my body clock was all messed up! After being awake for over 20 hours the day before and going to bed at 11pm, I still woke up at 4am! Why? I don't know, but in my time it was 9am which is later than I usually wake up! As we were awake we showered and were out of the hotel by around 8:30am! We had a busy day planned so we headed over to 5th avenue to begin our day. One thing I hadn't realised was that shops don't open in till around 10am in the city so whilst we waited for them to open we headed in to the Trump Tour to have a little breakfast. What a building! The whole place was made of marble and had a fountain running down the walls of 3 floors! That man has more money than sense!

There was even a motorbike in the middle of the reception! #cleanoff!
After an iced caramel soya latte and walnut and banana bread we headed to Abercrombie and Fitch. What a horrible shop! Not only was it extra dark but the music was so loud I could even speak to the shop workers without having to repeat myself numerous times! We did buy a few (a lot) of things but still - turn the music down! We also visited Tiffany's (obviously!)

After a little shopping we headed to 30 Rockefeller Center, where 30 Rock is based and where Saturday Night Live and Good Morning America is filmed! Rhys Ifans was there on Monday! We didn't have time to go see him though - he is so cool! We went right up to the observation deck which is on the 70th floor. The views were incredible and even though it was a little bit overcast you could still see for miles. Central Park, Brooklyn Bridge and the Hudson River were just some of the iconic views we could see.

We began making our way down to the Empire State building once we were back on solid ground. On the way we visited the New York Public Library, Grand Central Station and the Chrysler Building.

Next we headed to Macy's and my oh my it such a big shop! I bought a few Jessica Simpson shorts from there but it was such a big shop!

We had a lovely supper in Little Korea. Yuuum.

Once the sun set we headed up to the Empire State building. The views were incredible - New York at night! It was beautiful with all the office and apartment lights sparkling and the taxi lights were like ants across the city.

After our lovely time looking across the city at night. We walked back through Times Square and back to our hotel! What a busy but great day!
